Ingredients

  • 8–10 pork or chicken dumplings, fried
  • 1 head of lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 100 g Camembert cheese, torn into pieces
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • Juice of 1 lime

Method

1. Fry the dumplings according to the package instructions and allow them to cool slightly.
2. Arrange the lettuce on a large serving platter or divide between individual bowls.
3. Scatter over the peach slices and pieces of Camembert.
4. Add the warm dumplings on top.
5. In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, lime juice, pepper and salt seasoning.
6. Drizzle the dressing over the salad just before serving.
7. Toss gently and enjoy.

Tips

  • Nectarines, plums, or fresh figs also work beautifully when peaches are out of season.
  • Add toasted walnuts or pecans for extra crunch.
  • A handful of fresh basil or mint complements the sweet fruit and creamy cheese.
